The voice actor agency Intention will dissolve on March 31, 2027, the company announced on October 13, 2026 on its official website and social media accounts.
In a notice titled "Notice Regarding the Dissolution of INTENTION Co., Ltd.", the company said the reason is the adjustment disorder affecting its representative director, Kenichi Suzumura. Doctors have told him his condition will not recover as long as he remains involved in running the company, and the company described the closure as an agonizing decision (official notice).
Intention said it will make every effort to support the futures of its affiliated talent, and that it will continue management operations as before through March 31, 2027.
Suzumura, whose roles include Shinn Asuka in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny, founded the agency in 2012 after going independent from his former agency, Artsvision, together with the manager who had handled him there. As of October 2026 the agency represented 12 voice actors including Suzumura, among them Yuichi Nakamura, Nao Toyama and Yuma Uchida (AnimeAnime).
Suzumura took time off in February 2026 after being diagnosed with adjustment disorder, and in June he announced that he would return to work while taking his health into account.
