A teaser trailer for Kaiju Decode: Aidara no Yubiwa (怪獣デコード アイダラの指輪), an anime co-produced by Toei Animation and Tsuburaya Productions, has been released on Toei Animation's official YouTube channel alongside a third key visual. The anime is scheduled for release in 2027.
According to an Anime! Anime! report, the teaser uses footage from the anime and gives the first listen to its two leads: Aya Yamane as Maru, a boy who makes a living hunting kaiju, and Karin Takahashi as Coco, a girl who wishes to live alongside kaiju.
The new key visual shows Coco, a girl of the Aidara people, smiling gently as she reaches out a hand to a kaiju.
The anime is a new installment in KAIJU DECODE, a transmedia project built around "a story of kaiju and a girl" that has previously included short animation, VR animation and MR games.
