Student-Era Gojo and Geto, 25 Days Out
The new visual, shared in a report from Japanese entertainment-data outlet Oricon News, reads "25 days to go" and shows Gojo and Geto side by side as Jujutsu High students. It's a pairing with real history in MAPPA's adaptation. The two sorcerers' school years, and the rift that followed, were the subject of Season 2's Hidden Inventory / Premature Death arc, and Oricon's photo set for the announcement includes stills from exactly that stretch of the show.
The casting connection is already locked in for the event itself. Yūichi Nakamura, who voices Gojo, and Takahiro Sakurai, who plays Geto, both appear on the JuJu Fes 2026 guest list alongside Junya Enoki, the voice of series lead Yuji Itadori.
What's Planned for JuJu Fes 2026
JuJu Fes 2026 -5th anniversary- is billed as the largest Jujutsu Kaisen event to date. Per Oricon, it looks back across the anime's entire run, up through this winter's Season 3, The Culling Game Part 1, and serves as the finale of the series' fifth-anniversary year.
The program is built around three main attractions: a live-dubbing stage performed by the main cast, a special band playing music from the show live, and full live sets from the series' opening and ending theme artists. The confirmed artist lineup on the official event page spans the show's theme-song history, including Who-ya Extended, Tatsuya Kitani, ALI, Hitsujibungaku, and jo0ji, whose song "Yoake no Uta" served as the ending theme for The Culling Game Part 1.
Five Years of Jujutsu Kaisen
Gege Akutami's original manga ran in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump from March 2018 to September 2024 and has passed 150 million copies in circulation. The story follows Yuji Itadori, an ordinary high schooler pulled into a war over curses after the seal on a powerful cursed object is broken.
The anime's five-year run maps neatly onto the event's retrospective framing. Season 1 aired from October 2020 to March 2021, and the theatrical film Jujutsu Kaisen 0 earned ¥26.5 billion (approx. $180 million) worldwide after its December 2021 release. Season 2 ran from July to December 2023, and The Culling Game Part 1 aired from January to March 2026.
Looking Ahead
JuJu Fes 2026 takes over K-Arena Yokohama on August 29 and 30, 2026, with more countdown reveals expected as the date approaches. The Oricon report makes no mention of an international livestream, so overseas fans should watch the official channels for any streaming news.
There is also a bigger date on the horizon: Season 4, The Culling Game Part 2, is officially in production, with a teaser already out on the anime's official YouTube channel. In the meantime, the series streams internationally on Crunchyroll and Netflix, and Viz Media publishes the manga in English, with chapters also available on Shueisha's Manga Plus service.
