Three Rival Schools Get the Wrist Treatment

The first GARRACK x Haikyu!! smartwatches landed in September 2025 with Karasuno and Nekoma models priced at ¥10,890 (roughly $75) each. Those initial two watches won fans over with anime-specific touches: characters on the watch face change based on your daily step count, and when your heart rate spikes, the school's rally banner appears on screen. The Karasuno model flashes "Fly" while the Nekoma version displays "Connect." At just 14 grams without the strap and a 14-day battery life, they were built for daily wear, not display cases.

Now GARRACK is bringing three more models themed after rival schools that face off against protagonist Shoyo Hinata's Karasuno squad. The press release doesn't name the specific schools yet. Pricing, exact release date, and design details will be announced on GARRACK's official X account and website in the coming days.

Why Haikyu!! Merch Still Moves

Haruichi Furudate's volleyball manga ran in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump for eight and a half years starting in February 2012, racking up 75 million copies in circulation. The TV anime, produced by Production I.G, ran four seasons from 2014 through December 2020.

The franchise hit a new gear with Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle in February 2024. The theatrical film depicting Karasuno vs. Nekoma crossed ¥20 billion (approximately $124 million) at the worldwide box office and won the Outstanding Animation award at the Japan Academy Prize ceremony. Two more projects have been confirmed: the sequel film Haikyu!! VS The Little Giant, covering the Karasuno vs. Kamomedai match, and the special anime Haikyu!! Where the Monsters Go, which centers on the Fukurodani vs. Mujinazaka quarterfinal.

Two upcoming theatrical releases keep demand for new merchandise alive. GARRACK has been on a run of anime collaborations lately, including Demon Slayer mechanical watches and an Evangelion mother-of-pearl inlay (raden) watch line.

Looking Ahead

GARRACK will reveal the three rival school designs, pricing, and the exact late-July release date through its official X account and website. The first wave sold through dedicated anime retailers and the GARRACK online shop, so expect similar availability.

For international buyers, the first-wave Karasuno and Nekoma models have appeared on overseas reseller sites like Haruyama and JumpIchiban, so the new models will likely surface there too. No direct international distribution has been announced.

On the anime side, both Haikyu!! VS The Little Giant and Where the Monsters Go have been confirmed, though specific dates haven't been announced. Crunchyroll streams the existing four TV seasons and The Dumpster Battle in most international markets.
