The Full Party, On the Move

AMNIBUS, the anime merchandise retailer operated by arma bianca, has launched pre-orders for a new "Chibitoko" goods line based on Frieren: Beyond Journey's End. The series spotlights character movement, with each design featuring a freshly illustrated chibi version of the cast mid-stride.

All seven core characters get the walking treatment: Frieren, Fern, Stark, Sein, Himmel, Heiter, and Eisen. That covers both the current adventuring party and the original hero party, good news for fans who consider Himmel's crew just as essential to the story.

Japanese anime news site Anime Anime reported that the lineup spans six product types, with prices ranging from ¥275 (about $1.80) for trading illustration cards up to ¥1,320 (about $8.60) for the multi photo holder.

What's in the Lineup

The full product list:

  • Trading Chibitoko Acrylic Stands (¥880 each / ¥7,040 for a box of 8)
  • Trading Chibitoko Die-Cut Stickers (¥550 each / ¥4,400 for a box of 8)
  • Trading Chibitoko Can Badges (¥495 each / ¥3,960 for a box of 8)
  • Trading Chibitoko Illustration Cards (¥275 each / ¥4,950 for a box of 18)
  • Chibitoko Multi Photo Holder (¥1,320, three character-pair variations)
  • Chibitoko 3WAY Can Badge (¥880, eight character variations)

The standout item is the 3WAY can badge. It works three ways: pin it to a bag, prop it up as a mini desk stand, or hang it from a hook through the built-in hole. For collectors who rotate their displays, that kind of versatility matters more than it sounds.

All items are trading (blind-box) format except the multi photo holder and 3WAY badge, which let you pick your character.

About the Series

Frieren: Beyond Journey's End is based on the manga by Kanehito Yamada (story) and Tsukasa Abe (art), serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday. The story picks up after the Demon King has already been defeated. Frieren, an elven mage who has lived for over a thousand years, slowly comes to appreciate the fleeting human connections she once took for granted as she travels with a new generation of companions.

The TV anime's first season aired from September 2023 through March 2024 and was a breakout critical hit. Season 2 ran from January through March 2026, and a third season covering the "Golden Land" arc is confirmed for October 2027.

Looking Ahead

Pre-orders for the Chibitoko line are live on AMNIBUS now. AMNIBUS ships within Japan; international buyers will likely need a proxy service such as Buyee or Zenmarket to place orders.

The manga is published in English by Viz Media, and the anime streams on Crunchyroll in most international territories. With Season 3 not arriving until October 2027, merch drops like this one help bridge the gap.
