One Last Costume Change for the Science Kingdom

According to a brief report published on July 15 by the Japanese entertainment news site Comic Natalie, the new event artwork dresses Senku and company in their formal best. That is a notable wardrobe swap for a cast that spent seven years in stone-world rags, lab gear, and spacesuits, and it frames the event as exactly what it is: a farewell party. Natalie's headline also flags new comments attached to the reveal, but the brief version of the report available to us doesn't say who they're from, so we won't guess.

The occasion itself needs no guesswork. STONE FES. 2026, billed by the production as the largest event in the series' history, caps off an anime that aired its final episode on June 25, 2026 and closed out a run that began back in 2019. The final season, Dr. Stone: Science Future, delivered 37 episodes across three cours at TMS Entertainment (Detective Conan, Lupin III), the studio behind all four seasons.

Who's on Stage at Yokohama BUNTAI

The event runs October 10, 2026 at the Yokohama BUNTAI arena in Kanagawa, split into a day show (doors 12:00, start 13:00) and an evening show (doors 17:30, start 18:30). Yūsuke Kobayashi, who has voiced Senku Ishigami since the 2019 premiere, headlines both performances alongside Manami Numakura as Kohaku, Kengo Kawanishi as Gen Asagiri, and six more of the Science Kingdom's regulars, including Ryōta Suzuki as Ryusui Nanami and Kenji Nojima as Dr. Xeno.

A few appearances are session-specific, per the venue's event listing: Yoshiki Nakajima (Yo) appears at the day show only, while Yūichi Nakamura (Tsukasa Shishio) and Makoto Furukawa (Taiju Oki) join the evening show only. Fans picking one session are effectively choosing between different slices of the cast.

Music is part of the package too. BURNOUT SYNDROMES and KANA-BOON are both on the bill with live sets, giving the send-off a concert layer on top of the usual cast-talk program.

Looking Ahead

STONE FES. 2026 hits Yokohama BUNTAI on October 10, 2026, with tickets listed at ¥15,000 for SS seats, ¥13,000 for S, ¥11,000 for A, and ¥9,000 for limited-view seating. No word yet on a livestream or any international broadcast of the event itself.

The show it celebrates is easy to catch up on: all four seasons of Dr. Stone, through the Science Future finale, are streaming on Crunchyroll. The completed source manga by Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi, which ran in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump, is published in English by Viz Media. Expect the formal-wear artwork to do heavy lifting on event merch between now and October.
