New Detective Conan merchandise using a newly drawn illustration series called "Blue Butterfly Forest" will go on advance sale at the YTE booth at Animate Girls Festival 2026, which runs November 7 and 8, 2026 at Ikebukuro's Sunshine City and other venues, according to Anime! Anime!.
The new artwork shows the characters playing among elegantly fluttering butterflies, with the butterflies' blue worked into the designs. A clear file carries new art of Conan, Haibara, Amuro and Kid, and the lineup also includes an iridescent acrylic stand, trading foil-embossed cards, a slightly oversized iridescent holographic can badge and a hard card case.
A second group of items uses pop-up-picture-book-style chibi illustrations of Ran, Shinichi, Akai and Chihaya, rendered with a watercolor touch. Those products include a double-pocket clear file, trading mini acrylic stands, clear stickers, trading can badges and acrylic bookmarks.
AGF2026 runs from 9:00 to 17:00 Japan time on both days, with last new entry at 16:30. YTE, an entertainment production company, will also hold a satellite sales event, "AGF2026 YTE出張所 in animate," at animate stores nationwide from November 28 to December 20, 2026, where goods using the new illustrations will be sold.
At the AGF2026 venue and at the animate satellite shops, every ¥2,000 (tax included) spent on eligible items from a given series comes with one randomly selected bonus postcard for that series. Designs cannot be chosen, purchase totals are counted separately for each series, and distribution ends when supplies run out. Alongside Detective Conan, the booth and the animate shops are carrying new illustration series for My Hero Academia, Blue Lock and Tougen Anki.
