Sugita and Han Board the Edsea Continent
Tomokazu Sugita (Gintoki Sakata in Gintama, Joseph Joestar in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure) takes on the role of Raswell, while Megumi Han (Gon Freecss in Hunter x Hunter) voices Zaftieh. Both are new characters appearing for the first time in the second season. Japanese anime news site Anime Hack reported the casting alongside a new trailer and theme song announcement on June 11.
Sugita kept his comment characteristically deadpan, noting he first tried to pass the job off to co-star Kōtarō Nishiyama before adding: "Watch it about three times and Raswell starts to look creepy-cute." Han, meanwhile, gave a nod to director Kiyotaka Taguchi's Ultraman roots, remarking that the production has gathered cast members with ties to "a certain Land of Light."
Mayu Maeshima Returns With "Foreshadow"
Maeshima, who performed the Season 1 opening theme, is back with a new track titled "Foreshadow." Fans can hear a portion of the song in the Season 2 PV3 now streaming on KADOKAWA's YouTube channel. Maeshima described the song as "a rallying anthem about fighting back against the larger forces that try to control the world and yourself." Before her solo career, Maeshima fronted MYTH & ROID, the unit behind opening and ending themes for Re:Zero and Overlord.
What Is Clevatess?

The returning cast includes Haruka Shiraishi as Alicia, Mutsumi Tamura as Clenn, and Yūichi Nakamura as the titular Clevatess. Taguchi, best known for directing multiple entries in the Ultraman franchise, serves as both director and sound director on his first full anime series.
