Moviegoers at SCREEN X, 4DX and ULTRA 4DX screenings of Attack on Titan The Movie: Crimson Bow and Arrow in Japan are scheduled to receive a mini shikishi, a small art board, of Eren from October 23 to 29, 2026, according to an Anime Hack report published October 21. Character designer Kyoji Asano drew new art of part of a key scene for the board.
Character visuals of Eren, Mikasa and Levi were also released to mark the screenings. They use illustrations from the film's 2014 theatrical release and show Eren and Mikasa in their Training Corps days alongside a sharp-eyed Levi.
The film is the first of two theatrical films that re-edit all 25 episodes of the anime's Season 1, which aired from April to September 2013. The new run begins October 23. The official film website states that there are no regular 2D screenings, and the official trailer lists the release for theaters in Japan.
The 4DX version comes in standard intensity and in an upgraded "立体機動装置強化ver." (roughly, "enhanced 3D maneuver gear version"). According to Anime Hack, this version builds on earlier Attack on Titan 4DX screenings and reinterprets each scene's action and environmental effects more intensely.
THE LAST ATTACK, the theatrical film for the anime's final chapter, will also return to theaters in 2027 in SCREEN X, 4DX and ULTRA 4DX. Anime Hack reports that this will be its first SCREEN X showing.
