Kaori Ishihara's Class President Meets Her Match

Episode 26 is the second episode of Season 3, which continues the series' running episode count. According to the preview published by Japanese anime news site Anime Anime, Rentaro introduces his newest girlfriend Chiyo to the rest of the "family," the show's term for his ever-expanding circle of girlfriends, the same way he always does. It goes about as well as you'd expect. Chiyo is a stickler for order, and faced with the family's overwhelming lineup of personalities, she can't stop herself from growling and trying to straighten them out one girlfriend at a time.

Chiyo is Rentaro's cousin and a first-year junior high school student who serves as her class president. Kaori Ishihara (Aladdin in Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic) voices her; her casting was announced back in March alongside Ayana Taketatsu, who plays fellow Season 3 newcomer Naddy. Chiyo joined the girlfriend roster in the previous episode, so this is her first full outing as an official member of the family.

Meme's Hidden Face Is in Danger

The preview also teases a second storyline built around Meme Kakure (華暮愛々), the extremely shy girlfriend introduced in Season 2 whose face stays hidden behind her bangs. Voiced by Kanon Takao, Meme spends the episode on the run from a newspaper club member determined to drag her concealed face into the daylight. Rentaro and the other girlfriends are ready to confront the threat head-on, but Meme decides to overcome the crisis on her own, throwing herself into training with the family's support.

Where Season 3 Stands

The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You adapts the romantic comedy manga written by Rikito Nakamura and drawn by Yukiko Nozawa, serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump. The premise: after getting rejected 100 times in middle school, Rentaro Aijo visits a shrine, where the God of Love tells him he is destined to meet 100 soulmates in high school. The catch is that any soulmate who fails to find love and happiness with him will die, so Rentaro sets out to love every single one of them equally.

Hikaru Sato directs the anime at Bibury Animation Studios, with Wataru Kato leading the cast as Rentaro. Season 1 aired from October to December 2023, Season 2 followed from January to March 2025, and Season 3 premiered on July 5, 2026, airing Sundays at 10:30 p.m. on TOKYO MX ahead of BS11, AT-X and other Japanese channels.
