Inside MAPPA's Four-Show Exhibit
The studio's Anime Expo booth will spotlight four of its flagship productions with immersive displays that go well beyond poster walls. Japanese entertainment news site Anime Anime reported that each exhibit pairs original production materials with themed installations designed around each show's identity.
The Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc movie gets the flashiest setup. Original key animation drawings and production materials will be on display alongside an installation that recreates the film's iconic "door" scene. Fans of the film will recognize the moment immediately.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3's Culling Game arc provides the design framework for that show's exhibit. Original drawings and background art settings are arranged inside a "colony" environment, a direct nod to the barrier-enclosed battlegrounds of the arc. The source describes it as a space that makes visitors feel like they've walked into the show.
Attack on Titan: The Final Season goes big with a large-scale "Wall Titan" recreation built as a photo-ready centerpiece. Titan design sheets and original drawings round out that display. Dorohedoro Season 2 closes out the lineup with a photo spot channeling the series' signature chaos.
Convention-Exclusive Merch
MAPPA's booth will also sell merchandise available only at the convention. The lineup includes happi coats (traditional Japanese festival jackets, 3 designs), T-shirts (3 designs), keychains (3 designs), skateboard decks (3 designs), and MAPPA-branded caps.
The skateboard decks and happi coats are the standout items. Convention merch tables tend to lean heavily on acrylic stands and clear files, so it's unusual to see a studio stock streetwear-adjacent goods. No pricing has been announced.
Looking Ahead
Anime Expo 2026 runs July 2 through 5 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, with MAPPA's booth located in the Exhibit Hall, South Hall, booth 720. The convention draws over 100,000 attendees annually and remains North America's largest Japanese pop culture event.
No details on MAPPA's panel schedule or potential announcements at the convention have surfaced yet. The studio's 2026 slate is packed: the Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc movie, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3's Culling Game arc, Dorohedoro Season 2, and the recently announced Beat & Motion for Netflix in 2027 all have the studio running at full capacity.
