MAPPA is producing a television anime of Coco Uzuki's romantic comedy manga Fall in Love, You False Angels, with broadcast set for 2027. Animate Times recapped the credits announced so far in a feature published on October 17, 2026.
Nao Ojika voices Otogi Katsura and Taito Ban voices Toki Ninomae. The two roles were first revealed on September 12, 2026 on "AniplexOneFocus," Aniplex's news program, along with a cast reveal PV built around the gap between each character's public and hidden faces.
Yasutomo Okamoto is directing. Kensuke Ushio is credited as music producer, with Yūnosuke Senoo and Yuhki Kurihara composing the music.
The manga runs in Kodansha's Monthly Dessert, and the feature puts its cumulative circulation at more than 2.25 million copies. Otogi Katsura is a new student whose looks and grades have made her the admired figure of her school, but the version of herself she shows in public is a performance. Her classmate Toki Ninomae, who has an equally flawless reputation, finds out, and once each knows the other's true nature he proposes a secret partnership between them.
