A 16-Day Catch-Up Before the Finish Line
With the Dr. STONE anime heading into its final stretch, Japanese streaming platform ABEMA is giving fans a last chance to watch the entire series for free. According to a release on Japanese press release service PR TIMES, ABEMA will reopen its dedicated Dr. STONE channel on June 10, running daily free broadcasts of every episode across all four seasons plus the Ryusui TV special through June 26.
The channel covers the complete run produced by TMS Entertainment (Detective Conan, Lupin III): Season 1, Season 2 Stone Wars, Season 3 New World, and the currently airing Final Season, Dr. STONE SCIENCE FUTURE. Each broadcast block stays free for one week after airing.
Sixteen days is a tight window to cover roughly 94 episodes, but the daily broadcast schedule keeps the pace manageable.
The Final Season Is Already Underway
Dr. STONE SCIENCE FUTURE has been airing in a split three-cour format, with the third and final cour premiering on April 2, 2026. New episodes drop on ABEMA every Thursday, free for one week starting at 10:30 AM JST.
The series adapts the manga by Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi, serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump from 2017 to 2022. The story follows Senku Ishigami, a science prodigy who wakes up in a world where all of humanity has been turned to stone. Starting from nothing, Senku rebuilds civilization piece by piece, crafting everything from antibiotics to cell phones to rockets using raw scientific knowledge. The manga has sold over 20 million copies and won both the Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Award (2018, 2nd place in the comics division) and the Shogakukan Manga Award for the shonen category.
Looking Ahead
The free ABEMA channel opens June 10 at 8:00 AM JST and closes June 26. The channel URL at abema.tv/now-on-air/dr-stone goes live when the channel opens.
ABEMA is a Japan-based streaming service and the channel is region-locked, so international viewers will want to turn to Crunchyroll instead. Crunchyroll holds streaming rights across North America, Europe, Latin America, Oceania, and more, with SCIENCE FUTURE Cour 3 episodes releasing Thursdays at 7:00 AM PDT. The full back catalog is also available on the platform for subscribers.
The source manga is published in English by Viz Media, with all 27 volumes available. Fans in Japan can marathon the full series on ABEMA, while international viewers can catch up on Crunchyroll before the finale wraps.
