A Kingdom Where Beyblade Decides Everything
The new arc sends Team Persona somewhere the show hasn't gone before. According to the PR TIMES release from the Beyblade X PR office, Persona has just stopped the Kurosu clan's plan to destroy and rebuild Beyblade, but the "X" they touched turns out to be only a fraction of the whole picture.
They are summoned to the Bey Kingdom, a nation where everything is decided by Beyblade. The big one is the "Spin Crown War," a succession fight among 99 princes for the throne. Persona enters as stand-ins for one of those princes. The synopsis also teases that the kingdom has a hidden past connection to Persona, though the release doesn't say what it is.
The leads carry over: Sōma Saitō voices Ekusu Kurosu (Jaxon Cross in the English dub), Shūichirō Umeda voices Bird Kazami (Robin Kazami in the dub), and Ruriko Noguchi voices Multi Nanairo. Moto Terada directs, Kōji Bandai handles series composition, and OLM (Pokémon, Odd Taxi) produces the animation.
Meet the 88th Prince
The prince who recruits Persona is Dima Dil Kanz (ディーマ・ディル・カンズ), the 88th prince of the Bey Kingdom. Masaya Miyazaki (宮﨑雅也) voices him. The character description paints Dima as a man of few words whose love for his country outstrips everyone else's, and that sincerity is what gets through to Persona. He appears to be a strong blader in his own right, which raises the question the release leaves open: why did he need a stand-in at all?
In his comment, Miyazaki said he was honored to join the cast and asked fans to watch how Dima, given his position as a prince, ends up relating to Persona and the rest of the crew as the story unfolds.
A 30-second teaser for the arc went up on BeyTube alongside the announcement, with a snippet of the new opening playing over the footage. The video is region-locked in some territories, so viewers outside Japan may not be able to see it.
&TEAM and BAND-MAID Take Over the Themes
Both theme artists have real overseas footprints, which fits a franchise that has shipped more than 560 million Beyblades across 80-plus countries and regions since 1999.
&TEAM, the nine-member Japanese boy group, recorded "Fearless" as the opening theme. The release notes that the group's KR 2nd mini album Mark on Me, out September 8, passed a million copies worldwide, its fourth straight million-seller. It also says April's 3rd EP We on Fire made &TEAM the first Japanese boy group to chart on the Billboard 200. The song is credited to Soma Genda, SAS, LOAR, Seann Bowe, and Sho from MY FIRST STORY, and the release describes it as a big, heavy-sounding track meant to evoke the series' history while pushing the group's vocals somewhere new. "Fearless" hits digital platforms October 10, the day after the arc premieres.
BAND-MAID, the all-female hard-rock band known for pairing maid outfits with a punishing sound, handles the ending theme "SPIN." The band has topped 300 million total YouTube views, sold out every date of its 2022 US tour for a combined 20,000-plus attendance, and was featured as the top pick in a 2025 GRAMMY.com list of nine Japanese artists to know. Vocalist SAIKI wrote the lyrics, with music and arrangement by the band. SAIKI described the track as a relentless, twisting piece built on the energy of spinning, colliding tops and the series' theme of never giving up on a challenge, with sing-along phrases sprinkled throughout for fans to join in on.
"SPIN" releases October 28, 2026 in three editions: a first-press CD+Blu-ray at ¥7,700, a first-press CD+DVD at ¥6,600, and a standard CD at ¥1,650. Both artists also posted comment videos on BeyTube.
For context, the anime's first season opened with ONE OK ROCK's "Prove" and closed with aespa's "Zoom Zoom," so the show has a track record of booking artists with international reach.
Countdown Campaign and Start Dash Project
From September 25 through October 8, the official Beyblade account on X (formerly Twitter) will post one photo a day featuring a member of &TEAM or BAND-MAID holding their assigned Beyblade, covering all 14 members across the two groups before the premiere.
The arc also lands in the middle of the "BEYBLADE X START DASH PROJECT," a campaign that launched September 15 for newcomers to the Takara Tomy toy line. The full Beyblade X manga is currently available to read on Shogakukan's Weekly CoroCoro Comic website, BeyTube is running digest videos recapping earlier anime episodes, and a "BX-53 All-in-One Set" bundling three Beyblades, two launchers, and a stadium goes on sale October 10. Two special BeyTube videos on September 25 and October 2 will reveal new product, manga, and anime information, with prizes for 30 winners including an autographed reproduction art board from artist Posuka Demizu and a volumes 1-9 manga set.
Looking Ahead
The Bey Kingdom arc premieres Friday, October 9, 2026 at 7 p.m. JST on BeyTube, with new episodes every Friday at the same time. In Japan it will also stream on U-NEXT, Anime Hodai, Lemino, Prime Video, DMM TV, d Anime Store, and ABEMA.
The release says nothing about international distribution for the new arc. Earlier seasons' English dub aired on Disney XD and streamed on Hulu in the US, with the Season 2 dub arriving in July 2025, so there is precedent for a Western release, but no English-language plan for the Bey Kingdom arc has been announced.
The source manga, written by Homura Kawamoto and Hikaru Muno with art by Posuka Demizu and ZIONAO, has run in Shogakukan's Monthly CoroCoro Comic since June 2023, with nine volumes out in Japan. Viz Media publishes it in English.
