Back to the Future 40th Anniversary Time Circuit Clock Set

Gakken has unveiled a premium collector's box set celebrating the 40th anniversary of the iconic Back to the Future film franchise. The set, scheduled for release on February 19, 2026, features a replica Time Circuit clock and a Sports Almanac-inspired book cover, bringing two of the series' most memorable props to fans.

The Time Circuit clock recreates the dashboard panel from Doc Brown's DeLorean time machine, displaying destination time, present time, and last time departed. Beyond serving as a functional clock showing current date and time, users can customize the display to show any date and time they choose. Fans can set it to famous moments from the films or program their own dream time travel destinations.

The included mini-book features a dust jacket designed to match the Grays Sports Almanac from Back to the Future Part II, one of the franchise's most iconic plot devices. The A5-sized book cover can be used on other books, allowing fans to recreate scenes from the film.

October 21 holds special significance for Back to the Future fans, recognized as "Back to the Future Day" since the date appears as the future destination in Part II. The franchise, created by Academy Award-winning director Robert Zemeckis and Steven Spielberg, remains one of cinema's most successful trilogies, continuing to captivate audiences worldwide across generations.

The Back to the Future Time Circuit and Time Travel Box Set retails for 5,390 yen and is now available for pre-order through Amazon Japan and Rakuten Books. The product is officially licensed by Universal Studios Licensing LLC and developed by Gakken.
